The prime activity being pursed as part of the neighbourhood outreach is known as the “Bhandara”. This outreach comprises of serving food to the people in the neighbourhood of St. James’ Church. The food serving tables are located in the lawns of the Church so that the neighbours can come inside the Church gate to receive the “Bhandara”.
By way of this outreach, St. James’ Church sends a message to its neighbours, that the Church is accessible to them.
The “Bhandara” is sponsored by individual members of the congregation. This outreach is conducted on a monthly basis. In case you want to sponsor a “Bhandara”, please contact the Presbyter.
