Epiphany Day

Epiphany Day

The season of joyful Christmas celebrations in the church concluded with the service of Lessons and Carols, a long tradition at St. James’ Kashmere Gate. On 5th January the church members had the privilege of being joined by the two choirs: the melodious voices of St. Stephen’s Hospital choir, who mesmerized us by their soulful renditions of various traditional and contemporary carols and the student’s choir of St. Stephens College who also ministered to us in music and words of the Carols they sang. The occasion was appropriately graced by the presence of our honorable Bishop of Delhi the Rt. Rev. Dr. Warris K. Masih with whose prayers and pronouncement of blessings the service and season ended. We also had the privilege of having Fr. Christopher from the Rosary Church, Kingsway Camp and Dr. Renish Geevarghese Abraham, Bursar of St. Stephen’s College joining us for the service. Enthralling music filled the evening which made each and everyone rejoice in the presence of the Lord. The evening was followed by a fellowship dinner hosted by the church in which everyone joined in thanksgiving. The pastorate Youth Fellowship enthused the service and the fellowship by the service of ushering and serving the dinner to all the worshippers who attended the service.
